QUEEN'S A NIGHT AT THE ODEON

Queen's legendary "the 1975 Christmas" concert on Hammersmith Odeon was filmed and broadcast via BBC's "Old Grey Whistle Test" in 24 December 1975. After Bob Harris introduces the band, the show starts with 'Now I'm Here' in the dark. As singing the lyrics 'Now I'm here...', Freddie's silhouette appears on the right... And while singing the lyrics 'Now I'm there...' his silhouette appears on the left of the stage. So, when he says 'I'm just a...", the band suddenly appears through smokes, fogs, and a roaring noise...

When 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was No:1 in UK Charts, Queen gave that taboo-breaking show. It was a special rock show for England who was celebrating the Christmas of 1975. The track list was carefully prepared by the band, and the band perfectly performed the tracks from Queen, Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack.

The concert includes beautiful songs from Queen repertoire such as Now I'm Here, Ogre Battle, White Queen (As It Began), Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, The March Of The Black Queen, Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Brighton Rock, Guitar Solo, Son And Daughter, Keep Yourself Alive, Liar, In The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited as well as the band's cover performances to tribute their rock 'n' roll roots and inspirations such as Big Spender, Jailhouse Rock, Stupid Cupid, Be Bop A Lula. And that legendary show ends with British National March God Save The Queen which was arranged by Brian May.
